This is a dream come true for me. Steve Epting is hands down my favorite comic book artist of all-time. The iconic Captain America run by him and writer Ed Brubaker published in the early-2000’s was one of the first comics I ever started collecting and for many years, Bucky Barnes was more my Cap than Steve Rogers. The Winter Soldier storyline is a modern-day classic and way before the MCU, I was a HUGE fan of the character.
Whenever I think of getting into comics as a young kid, Steve Epting’s artwork instantly comes to mind. His Captain America is MY Captain America. I always dreamed of being able to work with him, so to share this news is extraordinary. I’m emotional and teary-eyed as we speak. I almost can’t believe it.
